Lure Seafood & Grille - It’s been almost six years since Lure Seafood and Grille opened on the Owensboro riverfront. During that time the restaurant has evolved finding a solid foundation in high-quality ocean fish and shellfish classics.

The restaurant opened with a sushi chef and modern, high-end dishes, then experimented a bit before finding the sweet spot of time-honored Continental seafood dishes combined with American regional specialties and some modern twists.

The menu changes seasonally, but the mainstays are in large part dishes you’ve heard named — reverently —all your life.  Lobster Béarnaise, for example, tops grilled cold-water lobster tails with béarnaise sauce, a traditional French sauce similar to hollandaise, but with layers of sweet tarragon flavor.  Steak or salmon may be served “Oscar,” meaning it is topped with fresh crab meat, asparagus and hollandaise.

If you’re not in the mood for seafood, choose pasta, a chop or a steak: filet, trimmed ribeye, or chipotle flank steak. A section of “upgrades” gives diners the opportunity to add Oscar topping, lobster with béarnaise sauce, garlic butter shrimp, blue cheese and more to any steak. You may also add crab, scallops or lobster a-la-carte.
